CyberGuys helps people understand and respond to online threats using the information available at the time. We do not promise a takedown, silence from an offender, account recovery, arrest, prosecution, or any other specific result. Website content is educational and does not replace legal, emergency, mental health, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
General information only
Website articles, checklists, examples, page content, and automated communications are provided for general information. Online threats differ in credibility, evidence, timing, jurisdiction, platform, audience, and safety risk. Information that is useful in one matter may be inappropriate in another.
No attorney client relationship
CyberGuys is not a law firm. Visiting the website, submitting a form, speaking with CyberGuys, or using the Investigator platform does not create an attorney client relationship. Legal representation or legal advice requires a qualified attorney and a separate agreement.
No emergency service
CyberGuys does not provide emergency dispatch, crisis intervention, or physical protection. Do not wait for a website response if you or another person may be in immediate danger.
Immediate danger: call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service. In the United States, call or text 988 for an emotional crisis.
Matters involving minors
CyberGuys does not accept paid minor sextortion cases. If a matter involves a child, involve a parent or guardian and use appropriate child safety, law enforcement, reporting, and image removal resources. Do not forward explicit images of a minor.
No guarantees about threats, reporting, removal, or monitoring
CyberGuys cannot guarantee that an offender will stop contact, that private content will remain private, that an account or post will be removed, that a platform will respond, that funds will be recovered, that law enforcement will investigate, or that a particular legal or investigative outcome will occur.
Monitoring reviews defined sources and indicators during the agreed period. It cannot search every private system, detect every reference, prevent all exposure, identify every account, or provide continuous awareness of the entire internet. A “low,” “protected,” “secured,” “active,” or similar status describes the information and work reflected in the case at that time. It is not a warranty that no threat exists.
Third party decisions
Platforms, search engines, hosting providers, carriers, payment companies, financial institutions, law enforcement, courts, and other third parties control their own policies and decisions. CyberGuys may prepare or support a report without controlling whether, when, or how the recipient acts.
Investigative information
Investigative findings may combine client statements, documentary evidence, public source information, technical observations, and analytical judgments. A lead, match, risk indicator, or working assessment is not necessarily a confirmed fact. Information can change, disappear, be misattributed, or require additional verification.
Investigator platform and status information
CyberGuys Investigator is the custom WordPress based platform, hosted through WP Engine, where CyberGuys houses and organizes client and case data. It is designed to communicate case activity, evidence references, reports, law enforcement and platform reporting status, monitoring coverage, and current status. Demonstrations on public pages are illustrative. Client information is limited to the applicable case and may be updated as new facts or third party responses are received.
Authorized and ethical use
CyberGuys does not hack accounts, bypass access controls, impersonate law enforcement, make knowingly false reports, retaliate, or access devices and systems without authorization. Clients remain responsible for the accuracy of information they provide and their authority to provide it.
Security and confidentiality limits
CyberGuys uses reasonable measures to protect information, but no website, email system, phone service, portal, hosting provider, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, explicit content, or unnecessary sensitive files through a public form or ordinary email.
Financial and recovery expectations
CyberGuys is not a bank, payment recovery company, credit counselor, or financial adviser. We cannot guarantee reversal of a transfer, cryptocurrency recovery, reimbursement, chargeback approval, insurance coverage, or restoration of a compromised account.
Use your judgment and seek the right professional
Nothing on this website should be interpreted as a recommendation to delay emergency assistance, legal counsel, medical or mental health care, financial advice, law enforcement reporting, or another qualified service.
